This Privacy Policy describes how Spacemic Recorder (“the App”) handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
1. Information We Collect
The App requests access to your device’s microphone solely for the purpose of recording audio for playback or your own use. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or identifying information.
2. Microphone Usage
The App uses the RECORD_AUDIO permission to capture audio through your device’s microphone. This audio is:
• Processed entirely on your device
• Never uploaded to any server or third party
• Never shared with any external service
• Only stored locally on your device and only transferred to other devices if you initiate the transfer yourself
3. Data Storage
Any recordings you create are stored locally on your device only. We have no access to these recordings. You may delete them at any time through the App or your device’s file manager.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with any third party.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected by the App, it is safe for use by all ages.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of their data, and opt out of the sale of their personal information.
Spacemic Recorder does not collect, sell, share, or disclose any personal information. All audio processing occurs locally on your device. As a result, there is no personal data to access, delete, or opt out of selling.
